From Festival Walls to Party-Ready Props
Earlier this year, our mural boards created for the Mount Gravatt Show were bursting with colour, personality and community spirit. They served as giant canvases for festival-goers to enjoy, covered in artwork, messages, and bright, joyful illustrations.
But once the show wrapped… we didn’t just toss them into landfill.
We looked at them the Zero Balloons way — as beautiful foundations for something new.
The First Transformation: A Signature Balloon Arch
One of the mural panels has already begun its second life.
After carefully cleaning, reinforcing and reshaping it, we breathed new life into it as our signature balloon arch backdrop — a piece that has now become one of our most-requested items for birthdays, milestones and big celebrations.
We kept some of the original texture and structure, meaning it carries a little piece of the festival’s energy everywhere it goes. It’s sustainable, stylish and full of character.
What’s Next? A Freestanding Superhero Feature Prop
The second mural board is currently undergoing its glow-up — and we’re so excited for what’s coming.
Soon, it will transform into a freestanding superhero feature prop, perfect for themed parties, comic-style photos, kids’ birthdays, and action-packed event layouts. Strong, bold and full of personality, this repurposed mural is getting ready for its next adventure.
