After the Festive Rush

Published on 8 January 2026 at 09:00

After Christmas and the New Year, there’s always a noticeable shift. Decorations come down, the pace slows, and the noise of the season begins to fade.

In the workshop, shelves and tools have been reset and organised, ready for the next stage of work.

In the studio, this in-between moment is dedicated to designing and expanding ideas. Cutouts now cover the studio floor — a clear sign that ideas are flowing and work is well underway.

This quieter period is an important part of how Zero Balloons operates. It’s a time to reflect on what worked, refine designs, and allow new ideas to take shape without rushing them. With the festive season behind us, there’s space to focus, experiment, and build with intention.

Slowly, the year begins to open up again.
