With the studio reset and ideas flowing again, we’ve been spending time refining a few key pieces as we prepare to open the Zero Balloons online store.
Right now, much of our focus is on the Forever Flowers range — hand-painted, reusable pieces designed to move easily between celebrations and everyday spaces.
We’re also developing our lasting heart designs, created to sit beautifully as florist bouquet centrepieces and keepsakes that don’t need to be thrown away.
Alongside this, we’re finalising a new Easter egg range, bringing together playful colour, thoughtful design, and the same intention to create pieces that can be used year after year.
One of the most exciting parts of this stage has been rethinking how everything is packaged and shipped. We’ve just ordered new packaging made from 99.9% recycled materials, designed to be fully compostable — from shipping labels and tape to wrapping materials — meaning everything can go straight into the compost or worm farm once it’s unpacked.
It might feel like a small detail to some, but it’s an important one for us as we build the online store. We didn’t want just any packaging — we wanted something that feels deeply aligned with how we want Zero Balloons to exist in the world.
With that now in place, our focus can shift back to what we love most: refining our designs and preparing our products for you.
As always, we’re building slowly and thoughtfully — testing pieces, refining details, and making sure everything is designed to last, not just for one celebration, but for many.
